Today, exactly one year ago, we went to the Carols rehearsal at the Myer Music Bowl. I'm glad Mel took her camera, even though Phil was giving her a hard time about her size! (see photo 3).

Phil has been fighting a battle with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) since 2004.
On the 29th of January 2009 Phil got test results that showed that the cancer had spread to his lungs. He was well for most of the year until June.
He passed away on September 29th.
He's not in pain anymore.
